Julian Gonzalez is a lifelong native of Ventura County having been born and raised in Santa Paula. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he received his bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, Chico after transferring from Ventura Community College. While earning his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, he worked as a California State Bar certified student-attorney at the McGeorge Elder and Health Law Legal Clinic. There he received first-hand training representing clients in a variety of matters involving elder financial abuse, contract disputes, civil harassment restraining orders, real estate, and estate planning. While in law school, he earned his Mediation certificate and the Capital Commendation Award for providing over 1200 hours of pro-bono legal services to the elder population in Sacramento County.
Julian began his career immediately after taking the bar at a busy law firm located in Beverly Hills where he gained experience in family law, contracts, and estate planning. As part of the California Bar’s new provisional license program, he began practicing family law immediately. Since then, he has returned to Ventura County to continue to practice locally. Prior to joining our firm, he worked at a local private law firm where he continued to zealously advocate for his family law clients.
When he is not working, Julian enjoys all the benefits of living in Ventura County. Whether it is getting exercise at any one of the local golf courses, taking a trip to the beach with his wife and daughter, checking out one of the many new local breweries, walking his dogs at the park, or enjoying time with family.
